Chiswell Sideboard Authentic teak MCM extra long sideboard 6 door Koben
This big and beautiful Chiswell (Australia) Deep Profile Sideboard really makes a statement while providing great storage, this range was produced by Chiswell starting in 1969 and the hidden lip profile handles and cabinet trim marked the move from earlier and arguably more refined mid-century designs to bolder designs in the 1970’s. This extra large sideboard has five cupboards and a bank of drawers. The dimensions are: 243cm long, 45cm deep and 75cm high.
Fully restored (refer to our FAQ) and ready for delivery, this rare and beautiful piece is part of the Chiswel range from the 1960s. This has been fully restored (filled any gaps, sanded and waxed with oil several times) for that Scandinavian golden brown look and feel.
Although these sideboards are common, this 6 door sideboard is unique in terms of its rareity and condition (we haven't seen on like this in over 6 months). Additionally unique hidden handles, surfaced in Teak over firstly solid timber then ply and finally particle board. 5 door 1 drawer with Green felt in the top drawer for cutlery.
