Well what can we say about this Featherston contour chair R160. This is an original fully restored armchair that is an iconic Australian and rare MCM piece. Yes there are other R160 chairs out there, but this has been fully restored bottom up and will last you another 60 years. Legs have been restored by VL, and the mould and fabric externally. The Kvadrat fabric is high end quality and this lovely pink fuchsia colour is an exceptional statement. Get a piece of Australian history with this amazing art and statement piece. This is not a stamped version but 100% authentic

- Frame/wood/legs: 9/10 has been restored fully with several full sands and oil wax for finishing. Suspect joints have been glued and clamped for extra stability and strength. We suspect the timber on the legs/frames is Australian oak or Silky Oak

- Fabric & upholstery: 10/10: new fabric is a lovely Kvadrat Hallingdale pink fuchsia colour fully upholstered. 

9/10 Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood, does not rock, no structural damage evident, sturdy as she can get. The comfort/sitting is medium -> when you sit the cushions/foam/seat is med-high density.
