Product Description Full:
Thonet folding relaxation chair, N°1 called "camin-sessel" circa 1880. Rare model in its original condition, the canes are new manual magnificent tension and flanged edge at each hole. No markings but the dimensions are perfectly those of the Thonet model from 1875 to 1885, perfect operation of the opening mechanism. We are leaving the cane unbleached for the time being, but it can be custom-dyed on request.
This seat is finished in "light walnut" under shellac

Timber: Gone through a full restoration which includes:
Strip, sand, oil x 2, all previous scratches and dints, holes have been removed -> looks like new, new hand woven method for the rattan seat and back

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood. No cracks sturdy and strong, these are super comfy if you like rattan cane seats
