Restoration of original Eames Moulded Plywood DCM Dining Chairs with Metal Base

Restoration services for this item include:

Scope of works:
Full Restoration (Gold Service) on the timber frame 
1. 6 X original Charles Eames dining dcm dining chairs

2. Fix broken sides x2 with new shock mounts onto frame and secure back on two of the dining chairs only

3. Full strips, sand X 2 sand then a natural oil wax finish showing natural colours of timber (OR) in Danish oil with a slight yellow tinge (both satin finishes) - will show you a sample of each before doing all chairs. This is as close as the originals were finished that is a natural oil yellow tinge satin finish

4. Hand polish all steel frames with autosol chrome and metal polish reviving the chrome (this also removes or hides minor rust marks but not any pitting or severe rust marks that has gone though the chrome). Finish will be shiny and new (think of it like vintage car rims being polished)

Out of scope:

5. MAJOR structural work e.g frame or legs are loose, not working or damaged. Full inspection will be carried out on arrival to ensure that structural joints, etc is in tact 

6. New parts required eg new shock mounts that's beyond the 4 required for the 2 chairs. will also inspect other shock mounts on remaining 4 chairs as well as ones underneath

7. Pickup and delivery
