Scope of works:
Full Restoration (gold Service)
1. Three X t21 armchairs, 3 seater couch, 2 seater and ottoman.

2. Upholstery on all pieces

3. Removal of existing webbing, fabric and foam -> install 5 dot elastic webbing on base and equivalent elastic for the back. for the bum this will be a much firmer sit, will not drag or sag coupled with new blue med density foam this will be a med to firm comfort/sit. We can add/reduce density or thickness and you can decide this after we complete the first chair. After which you can choose more/less thickness on foam and/or density type. Basically we will customize the feel for each item and cushion. We will use the first chair as the firm sit as a baseline, you can sit in it and add or reduce firmness from there

4. New foam blue firm of 8cm for seat, new white foam med firm 7cm for back (back maybe thicker depending on the current thickness of the chair - will review when we pull it apart), including Dacron for rounder finish and look. We will provide you a couple of options (refer to pics) as to the style and shape of the cushions however you have indicated circle headrest everything else rectangle,.straps and oval headrests

5. Full timber restoration: sand, glue joints and finish in shellac or osmo satin for a similar golden look (may show different colours of timber throughout). We will show you the difference between the two and you can select the finish.

Out of scope:
- general: Although we restore furniture to the best of our abilities some mid century furniture have weight and height design flaws based on original design from the 60s, we cannot guarantee chairs may fail if above 100 kgs. We do offer services to tailor your items to have additional strength and/or functional changes such as brackets or beams to support these scenarios 

- coat of fabric

- delivery 

- major structural changes like big cracks or missing timber (hairline and minor cracks are fine in scope)

Estimated mid March (selection of fabric should be made within 2 weeks or 2 weeks when we have completed any timber restorations (if applicable)

20% deposit required to commence, remaining 80% on delivery completion

Fabric section:

1) Always wait till after the timber restoration has been done never before. The "before" colour of the timber and/or finish is not the same as colour "after" it's been restored. What you thought would look good on the original may change after you see the colour of the timber once restored. We always select fabric after timber has been restored and advise our customers to do the same

2) we are not experts in selecting colour, tone, pattern, texture, feel etc...there are professionals that do this, we advise getting samples first and putting it against the restored timber colour/finish to get an idea of what you're after...timber finish that's satin vs gloss or number of colours or tones will affect your decision on fabric. Also read the specifications of the material to see if it meets your technical requirements once again speak to these fabric houses or research online

3) look at your home, space and lighting of where you will put the item and select either complementary or completely different colours...this is a personal choice. Follow trends...or choose not to. There is no right or wrong answer it's what you want (get advice but make your own decision)

4) make sure you read and understand the fabric specifications to ensure it matches your needs eg sun, rub count, texture, environmentally friendly, how to care, wash etc we can advise here and provide recommendations 

5) don't be scared to experiment (ideally at the samples stage) as simple cushions to reupholster are affordable, if you don't like it get another fabric it's not the end of the world
