A beautiful vintage Teac tape player from the 90s unique design with a lovely woodgrain casing. Cosmetically its seen better days but functionally works excellent. Features of the TEAC A-400 include an exclusive vertical transport system, mechanically interlocked twin rotary lever controls, dolby noise reduction, DC servo-controlled motor, individual dual position bias and equalization selectors, two large VU-type loudness meters, peak reading LED level indicator, individual input and output level controls and an automatic stop function. Cosmetic Condition:

The wood grain is in excellent condition, top, both sides and the metal front facia has minimal scratches, however the some of the writing has worn off e.g the stop, fwd, play, pause, deck (please refer to pictures)

Functional Condition:

Has been mechanically serviced by our audio technician including new belts and cleaned heads, with all features working fine except recording which has not been tested and may not work fully, everything else works a treat including playback, rewind, forward, mic, phones, eject, eq, dolby etc
